Campaigns

We support campaigns that can help community organisations to address unmet needs in the community.

We recently supported the Social Impact Hackathon, organised by James Cracknell from The Weave, based the University of Essex, which has brought together a number of community groups to receive £20,000 of funding from ACT.

It was an intensive, interactive weekend event that brings fun and creativity to individuals across the region who are keen to contribute to social innovation.

Working in teams with fellow students, local business, creatives and charitable organisations, they were brought together as problem solvers in pursuit of socially innovative ideas that address the mental and physical health, welfare and well-being issues of the region.

The event gave them the opportunity to learn, collaborate, and grow your networks whilst adding value to ideas that can help improve people’s lives.
