ACT's Young Lives Film
Competition - Eva Jones from the Colchester Sixth Form College wins £300

We recently launched a new film competition, in association with Underdog Crew Studios, which invited young people, between the ages of 11 – 21, to submit a 2-4 minute film to reflect on the challenges and problems they have faced during their lives.

We wanted to learn about the issues young people experience, so we can share them with health professionals in the voluntary and statutory sectors, who can help work out ways to address their problems in the future.

Anglian Community Trust has funded two new projects that will help to improve the lives of young disadvantaged people in North East Essex, many suffering from mental health problems.

ACT has also awarded £11,000 to Uniform7, which will create new clothes more suitable for children with autism and learning disabilities, who struggle with traditional uniforms.
